Lynne Roebuck

Lynne Roebuck completed a craft-focused art course after leaving school before working for some 20 years as an illustrator and graphic designer, a creative team manager, and a teacher of design and art. In 2007, after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Masters in Contemporary Fine Art Practice, Lynne began to concentrate on original fine art printmaking.

Working with linocut, Lynne uses both several plates and reduction cut methods to create limited edition original prints, often hand-painting individual plates. She uses a traditional printing press and describes her printmaking process as "push button and plug free".

Lynne is inspired by her surroundings, especially coastal scenes and the effect they have on our senses: landscape "as we feel it to be”.
