Nic Draper
Nic Draper is a Flamborough-based artist whose work is shaped by the restless energy of the coast and the quiet beauty of local gardens. Through layered textures, delicate luminosity, and vibrant bursts of colour, Nic captures what the eye cannot always see — the fleeting shimmer of light, the hidden movement of wind, the whispers of changing tides.
Each piece, whether small or large, invites the viewer to pause, look closer, and step into a world where detail becomes discovery.
Peter Finch
Peter Finch has always been inspired by the tactility and physical process of painting, both in his own work and in the work of other artists. His work exhibits a continuing struggle between the energy and freedom of intuitive mark-making and the need to design and analyse. Each painting represents a mirror which reflects an aspect of his emotional response to life and nature rather than trying to capture the look of a place or object. The goal is always to retain the initial freshness and energy of those first marks.
Peter has exhibited locally on the East Coast, North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales.
